Hi, I'm Jo! The gal/kid behind June Child Ceramics. All ceramic pieces are crafted by me in a cozy Montreal home studio, alongside my furry assistant Krixi. I started throwing pots for fun and fell in love with the medium. From an open heart, I want my works to encourage play. Growing up in a densely populated city, my whole being felt constructed. I spent a lot of time with nature and realized how much it made me feel like a child, and that there is so much to relearn about our truest selves. Clay has become my medium for expressing this sense of playfulness and I hope to share it with others. ☺
